Jesus said, "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." Why did he say that? Children are eager to learn, don't have a lot of hang-ups and love to enjoy themselves. A lesson to us all.

Our class leaders: Isobel, Angie, Beth, Anna, Fiona and Pamela teach children of ages 3 to 12. They meet at 11.00am during term time but not during the school holidays. Having met in their classes they go into church to be with the adults for the last part of their service.

They have an opportunity to worship with their parents and other adults at the regular Family services, monthly during term time and weekly during the summer months.

Beginners

3's - 4's

(Pre-School)

There are activity sheets for the children to accompany the lessons. Each full-colour, double-sided sheet contains a simple retelling of the Bible story, a picture to colour and a variety of other simple activities plus a text to colour.

Primaries

5's - 7's

(P1 - P3)

There are children's activity sheets to accompany the lessons. Each full-colour, double-sided sheet contains questions, puzzles and other activities such a simple codes and verses to colour to revise the Bible story and reinforce the lesson.

Juniors

8's - 11's

(P4 - P7)

In addition to the activity sheets, the children have to find verses and information from the Bible. Occasional true-life stories are featured and each week a passage of the Bible for further reading is given with linked activities.

Teen Appeal

12's and over

(Young Teens)

Teen Search contains questions, puzzles and other activities to get young teens to recall and think through what they have learned in the lesson, referring to the Bible passage and other texts. It features true-life stories and fact files and there is also a memory verse along with a further Bible passage for investigation.
Young Teens will need a Bible to complete the activities.
