The Craft Group

The Craft Group was formed about 3 years ago (2006) and has gone from strength to strength. There are about 17 of us now who meet every Monday afternoon from 2.00 - 4.00pm in the Church Halls, all the year round.
The group is open to any one who wishes to come - any denomination, any faith or none. If you enjoy good company, a chat and craft, then this could be the group for you.
Some of the ladies are more serious Crafters while others prefer to knit hats for sailors, squares for blankets, teddy bears, vests, etc. It really doesn't matter as we meet as much for fellowship as for crafts.
In November each year we have a sale of the things we have made and the proceeds go to charity. It gives us something to aim for.  We are a very informal chatty group and all look forward to Monday afternoons. Once a year we also have an outing, using the local Freedom Coach.
These are examples of some of the items made to sell at our sale of work.
The enthusiasm continues at home - a work of art in its own right.
